[24] Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
25] And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

Undergo Mental Surgery
Romans 12:2 KJV
[2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

[6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

[5] Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
1 Corinthians 2:11-16 KJV
[11] For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12] Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
[13] Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14] But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them , because they are spiritually discerned.
15] But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16] For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

[7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
[8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Who Hurt You?
I hear you crying. Who hurt you?
Your spirit is dying. Who hurt you?
My Father can help you. He'll carry you through.
He will heal and deliver, revive and renew.
I know you are bleeding! Who hurt
you?
He's the help that you're needing. Who hurt you?
He died for you! To heal your heart.
He cried out for you! For your broken part.
You are hiding from him. Who hurt you?
Strength is abiding in him. Who hurt you?
He will look through the window. He will tear down the door.
He will slay your abuser. You will see him no more.
You must find the courage to call out to him.
He waits ever so patiently. His eyes are not dim.
He sees and He knows. He's waiting for you
While your pain grows and grows. Yet He knows what to do.
Just tell him about it. He is loyal and true.
Just answer the question. Tell him, who hurt you.

The Faces of Lust
We all wanted something. We all had greed.
We took what we wanted and labeled it need.
Lust is not just an emotion, but a spirit to the core.
Regardless of quantity, lust always demands more.
It's a bottomless pit. It's a house without walls.
It's the Samson disorder to the leader that falls.
Examine it's fingers. Study it's claws.
Look at it's grasp. What's the effect or cause?
Study the rapist. Is that about sex?
His lust spews violence, a strong need to vex!
His lust is a seed planted in the heart.
A generational curse aimed at those set apart.
Look at the rich man with no need to steal.
Lust surpassing greed, just loving the thrill!
Man lust for knowledge, power and control.
Man's lust for money can destroy his soul.
Man's lust for titles causes loyalty to shift.
The church brother lusted for your spiritual gift.
Lust covets, lust envies and lust imitates.
Lust strives, lust belittles and eventually hates.
That church sister studies you, while seeming to care.
Yet she covets what is yours, whether house, car or hair.
Lust carries many faces. It can kill and haunt.
Yet the message is simple. Lust says,"I want."

The Biggest Lie That Was Ever Told
I was once a liar, I would not tell the truth.
Back then I wondered why.
I was not trying to cover my wrong.
I had a compulsion to lie.
Yet one day, Christ came my way.
He purged my tongue with fire.
He filled my heart with Spirit Truth.
He taught me about the Liar.
It started long ago in a place prepared for man.
It was called Eden where a Liar made his stand.
It was there in Eden a beautiful, peaceful place.
The Liar entered the serpent showing his evil face.
There evil stood against that which was good.
Mankind learned where his heart really stood.
Rebellion raged against a holy God.
The Liar walked where Truth once trod.
In a holy place under the most beautiful sky.
Satan told mankind his biggest lie.
Since Satan is a Liar and the father of it.
God threw him down and into this pit.
This lie would kill the soul of man.
It will kill as long as this earth will stand.
What did the serpent say? What is this lie?
He said," Eat of this tree, you shall not surely die."
The biggest lie that ever was told
Separated man from God and killed his Soul.
The instant man believed that terrible lie.
He was thrust from God and started to die.
Yet that's not how the story ends.
It is more about where God's grace begins.
The biggest lie brought forth the biggest Truth.
That Truth came from above.
Had not there been the biggest lie
We would never know the greatest love.
For one man who sinned all mankind dies.
For the Christ without sin salvation abides.
Where sin do abound, Grace much more abound.
Where the lie lay hidden, Truth still can be found.
It was the biggest lie that has ever been told.
Yet the biggest truth is God loves man's soul!
The lie is still being told today.
It says you can serve God any old way!
Just do your best, all of us lie.
Even so, you shall not surely die.
Nobody is perfect, we all do try.
You know we shall not surely die.
Walk in your flesh, and repent by and by.
You know you shall not surely die.
We all are sinners. Everybody lie.
You know we shall not surely die.
When we all stand in judgement
Many souls will bitterly cry.
Yet our God has spoken truth
The soul that sinneth shall die.

Digesting the Darkness
Gasping, choking, in a satanic womb.
No window, no door, just a pitch black tomb.
No touch, no comfort, no water, no cold.
No love, no joy, no awareness of the soul.
Digesting the darkness, afraid and alone
In pain, and in torment, no comfort, no home.
No mother, no father, no family, no friend.
No awareness of beginning or time or end.
Digesting the darkness, total absence of light!
Not able to run, or to hide or take flight.
Not able to cry or moan or scream
Not able to die or awake as from a dream.
Gasping, choking, desperate for air
Burning, and knowing no one will care.
Digesting the darkness as it fills you inside
The stench is overwhelming. All access denied.
You can not die, or experience peace
Just non-ending blackness that will not cease.
Where am I? What is this? You finally yell!
The bible says it is a place called Hell.

Why? Why? Why?
Why must this life be hard and complicated?
Why must our body feel anguish and pain?
Why must relationships be hurtful?
Why must our normal be so insane?
Why must man control one another?
Why must we manipulate our brother?
Why must we be religious but lost?
Why must we suffer the pain of the cross?
Life is hard to make one's heart soft.
To teach one's heart to love.
Life is indeed a complicated force.
It creates hunger for our Father above.
We must suffer pain to feel compassion.
The reward is brokenness in heart.
It's the gift that makes us aware of dying
It separates Self and the Spirit apart.
Relationships hurt just to remind us
To never put confidence in man.
To put trust only in Jesus.
The only Rock that truly will stand!
Our normal is very insane
Because all flesh in Adam once fell.
We turned the Garden of Eden
Into a flaming inferno called Hell.
We seek to control the mind of each other
In order to cope with the tormenting fear
That someone may come to really know us.
So it's safer to be insincere.
Manipulation is always needed
To keep one enslaved to a lie.
It hides the fact that one forced you.
Then the question will never be why.
It is easier to be religious
Than to give our Creator our heart.
We'd rather give in to sinful flesh.
The Adam tragedy from the start.
Why must we suffer on a cross?
Why endure the torture and shame?
Why it's only to gain what we once lost.
Our life! Our soul! Our name!
Our life was meant to be eternal
A soul free of sin and strife.
We suffer the cross for the ultimate prize.
Our name in the Lamb's book of life!

Sin, Just Wait!
When a man is tempted he is drawn of his own lust.
His own heart determines if he be wicked or just.
All mankind had an apple out of that bag.
We have a chance now to refuse to be had.
God taught me a secret that changed my fate.
He gave me the power to tell sin "just wait!"
I used to think what I felt was real!
Until I learned to be quiet and perfectly still.
What came at me was not really in me.
What I was shown, is not what I could be.
I was not what I did nor what you see.
What was done to me was not the real me.
Imagine raw power when your mind says hate!
The power to scream and tell sin "just wait!"
You want to fight back with tongue and fist.
With words that are vile and too many to list.
You open your mouth as the words formulate.
Yet you end up instead telling sin to "just wait!"
Wait till I feel like dealing with you!
Wait till the pain of being tempted is through!
Wait till the tears and anguish is past!
Wait till the Spirit has spoken at last!
Wait till Holy Ghost power kicks in!
Wait till I recognize what really is sin!
Wait till I chose if I want to do wrong!
Wait till my spirit is peaceful and calm.
Wait till the word of God manifest.
Wait till He's more and wait till I'm less.
You will see that Satan has no real power
He was defeated at Gethsemane in just one hour
The prayer was "not my will but thine!"
The prayer was not just His but mine.
On the cross that day Sin faced his fate.
He was told then and forever, "Sin, just wait!"
Death and sin still flows now like a flood
Yet death must pass over "when I see the blood!"
When sin is conceived it bring forth death.
It leaves the soul in a terrible state!
Victory is wrought when with courage you stand, fearlessly crying out, "Sin, just wait!"

The Gift That Keeps On Giving
As a small child I sought love. I yearned for its embrace.
How soon I learned a bitter truth that slapped me in my face.
Satan sent a messenger and dressed him in disguise.
I wrapped my heart around him and loved with blinded eyes.
The more extravagantly I loved the less he loved me.
The more pure my heart became the more my eyes could see.
Rejection is a thorn to the flesh. A pain that wounds so deep!
A death blow to the heart of man that causes one to weep.
A gift that keeps on giving, even after the giver is gone.
A piercing memory, a paralyzing fear, demanding you live alone.
Who can endure its painful thrust? Who can withstand the lie?
It says I love you while you're bleeding, while forcing you to die.
It's a dagger to the juggler and a lash upon your back.
It's vinegar to a thirsty soul, a lover waiting to attack.
It's the gift that keeps on giving even after the victim is left
Alone, abandoned and full of grief, unable to love or accept
Another lie, another touch, another I love you.
Another kiss, another embrace that proves to be untrue.
It is only then you can recover and
know the heart of man.
It is only then you can discover what God wants us to understand.
That love comes only from God. A gift he gives to the heart.
It causes one to pull the long haul. It forces us not to depart!
It rejects only to reject the one you love and hold so dear.
It cast out doubt, bitterness and the pain that causes the fear.
It heals the brokenhearted and forces us to keep on living.
But most of all it destroys that gift, the gift that keeps on giving.
